I undertsand that there are 25 of you out there who, according to the e-mail I received, want to hear from me about any issue that I feel is important. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you all for your interest.
As you may know I am currently chair of the DWP Select Committee and I have been heavily involved in the recnt annopuncements on Pensions and I am also currently looking at the future of incapacity benefit. Any views that you may have on these issues would of great interest to me at a national and local level.
On a local level I am involved in anumber of neighbourhood campaign and many individual cases. I also try to ensure that any consultation documents or briefings that relate to an individuals interests are sent out from my office.
I would be interested to know what particular interests you may have so that I can try and ensure that you can be included in this work and also that any furture postings relate to the areas of greatest interest.

What confidence can we have in a man who cannot proofread messages correctly?
Or is simply that he doesn't think us worth a refined reply?

A couple of typos shouldn't rule out the fact that it's great to have an MP who is actually grasping hold of this and getting in touch with his constituents electronically.
I hope we continue to receive updates this way and more people sign up for them!

We apologise for any problems with the previous message as far as spelling is concerned and we will try and do better in future.
