It is encouraging that you have chosen to speak up on the issue of road safety. Unfortunately this concern does not appear to be shared by either the district or county councils or indeed councillors that I ahve written to in the past on this matter. Sunnyside, like many other roads in Diss, is regularly used as a "rat run" meaning the majority of vehicles use excessive speed, and during the school moves the traffic often "bumps" the pavement to get past traffic, ironically often it is the school buses who are the greatest offenders. Is it not time for all such roads to have 20mph limits, and for limits to then be policed AND enforced?
