Do you feel sites such as these are helpful in your role as an MP,in that they create an open dialogue with your constituents, or does moitoring/responding to the comments take up time which you feel could be beter used to serve your constituency's needs?

I would like to ask what you feel about the length of time it has taken the council to complete their roadworks in Grahams Road at the junction of Davids Loan? This work has caused untold delays in the time it takes to use this road, and speaking as a constant user, I try to use an alternative route wherever possible. I find it frustrating on my way to work for 6.00am when there is little or no traffic about, to be stuck at these lights for what seems like ages.

I would like more information about 'roadworks' going on at Davids Loan. Nothing has been public apart from changing streetlighting and modernising. My feeling is that this is partly to reduce unacceptable environmental readings on grahams road and to repair leaking pipework?

Would you support an end to second home mortgage payments and replacement with a furnished state residence that MP's cannot make profit from by selling the property on when the value rises?

I have heard that your main residence is in Essex but your second home is here in Falkirk. Is this true?

Thanks for the many interesting comments made on this site. I don't think it works well, though as it only allows me to reply to two people per day and doesn't let me reply directly to constituents. Direct communications is much better - do email me on ericjoycemp@parliament.uk or use 'ericjoyce' at www.twitter.com. That way, i can reply right away. eric

My replies on this site appear to be public (so I can't give personal replies to most people who send messages this way), it 'allows me' only two replies per day, it gets in the way of direct communications and has been supplanted in any case by 'Twitter'. I'm blocking it and asking constituents to write to me directly, as ever, at ericjoycemp@parliament.uk or find me on www.twitter.com at 'ericjoyce'. Regarding the question about Essex and 'is it true'; no it isn't. Happy to meet anyone to discuss. Do ring me on 01324638919 to arrange a meeting on any subject. Best wishes, eric
