Interest rates

A number of elderly constituents have contacted me expressing concern over declining interest rates. They tell me that they are finding it increasingly difficult to manage their finances because the return on their savings is now so low.
I would appreciate hearing from anyone who may be experiencing such difficulty, or who may have family or friends who are affected.

Dear David
We had a financial adviser and invested our money as we thought wisely and we have lost thousands of pounds. Between the new interest rates and the economic situation life is becoming increasingly difficult for pensioners.
