Feed In Tariffs
Posted by Alan Simpson, MP for Nottingham South, at 14:26, Wed 21 May 2008:
I have recently tried to move an amendment to the Energy Bill on Feed in Tariffs. This would require energy companies to pay citizens for clean energy that people provide from their own home or community.
Full details of my proposal will be on my website this weekend www.alansimpsonmp.co.uk
I would like to know what people think.
best wishes

I havn't read the proposal yet, but I do like this idea in theory.
I would like to see much more rapid progression towards securing greener, cleaner energy supplies, and for individuals to be given more opportunity to contribute and benefit from their interests in this field.

I've just read the article "Clause 4 - The Return", and it all sounds very sensible. I wish we were as willing to make changes as the Germans. Let's follow their lead!
