Dear HearFromYourMP,
Very many thanks for your email.
I shall shortly be starting to send a monthly newsletter to all constituents who email me about an important local issue which affects everyone and on which I would welcome local views.
I am more than happy to add everyone's name to this email list.
In the meantime, if those on your list are interested, they can breaking news on what is happening in North Oxfordshire on my website on www.tonybaldry.com
One local campaign which I am running at the moment, together with Age Concern, is "Find a Friend". I approached Age Concern at Christmas because I was worried that increasingly elderly people are living at home alone with many relatives living further away and they may not have anyone to look out for them during what can often be a difficult time. After approaching local churches a number of people have volunteered to act as a friend, and visit someone once a week, and be on hand when needed, and if anyone is interested in volunteering for this scheme, myself and Age Concern would be incredibly grateful. Please do email me if this is of interest.
Best wishes.
Tony Baldry
