Plainly and annoyingly just going through the motions - no evidence of conviction or sincerity whatsoever ...and certainly no 'style' (Dear all, [sic] - I ask you!).

No need for that R J Searle! Was that comment meant to be sarcastic? Seems perfectly genuine to me. How can you and why should you have "style" in something so simple.
