Hello and thank you for taking the time to register to receive more information from me. I believe it is important to keep you informed about what I have been doing on your behalf locally and in Parliament. I am also keen to hear from you if you have issues or concerns to raise.
For these reasons, I recently launched my new website at www.helengoodman.co.uk. Some of the topics recently covered include:
- climate change
- help for social enterprises
- the Warm Front scheme to tackle fuel poverty
- local bus services
- payments to farmers
- local policing
There is also information about the constituency, details of advice surgeries, contact information and some of my speeches and articles. I hope you find the site useful but please let me know if you have improvements to suggest.
Best wishes
Helen Goodman MP for Bishop Auckland

Thanks for this. Look forward to hearing more from time to time. A plea - how about putting out some of the issues for discussion that you need to deal with, along with all their complexities and grey areas. We're the public, remember, not the media - you can admit that you don't know the answer to everything, or that there may be conflicting things impinging on some issues. I'd much rather that, in a public space, than see endless spouting of the party line, and list of the 'great things we've already done' which seems to be what most politicans THINK people want to read...
Thanks
