I'm not sure what this message is all about,..but if it is asking for feedback on how my question to Charles Clarke was dealt with, then this is my feedback: Yes, my email was aknowledged by a letter from Charles Clarke, and staff replied (by aknowledgement but not in terms of content) to my emails giving them further info on the topic. Also several weeks later I got another letter saying the issue I had raised had been addressed by the council (so no further action was necessary) (The central issue was proposed buildouts on Unthank road making cycling more difficult and dangerous)...but my impression was that it was only addressed because of work by the councillors (green party and lib dem ones I think) and work I did informing and urging other cyclists to express an opinion. I did not really get the impression that much thought was given to the issue of the general 'road narrowing' policy in central Norwich (and nationally) and its effects on Cyclists by Charles clarke or his office, but the processes of acknowledging and passing on my emails were efficient and courteous, it's just that I'm not sure the content was given that much attention or thought (although it could be that the fact that documentation on the proposed changes was requested from Norwich city Council by Charles Clarkes office, helped to focus their attention on my comments that they had not really been taking any notice of. (I have no way of knowing what part Mr Clarkes request played as the councillors were clearly actively addressing the issue and assessing wider public opinion and thereby influencing the council transport planning dept (as relayed to me in their emails). That's my feedback on my response from Charles Clarke...but this type of 'supposed' 'safety' scheme (which makes things worse (more dangerous) for cyclists is being done nationally, and I had hoped this would be considered and my comments passed on to the appropriate parties in central government. Thank you
