I understand that you recently registered with the "HearFromYourMP" website. In case we have not met before, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your local Member of Parliament. I have represented Stockton South since 1997 and make every effort to make myself available to all constituents – regardless of their political allegiance.
I hold regular monthly surgeries in my constituency office and on-street surgeries throughout the constituency. If you would like to arrange a surgery appointment, please contact me using the details on my website www.daritaylormp.co.uk. On the site you will also find details of my recent work in Parliament, useful phone numbers and information about the constituency.
There are many issues which I take up on behalf of constituents; these include:
- Tax problems involving HM Revenue and Customs;
- Problems dealt with by the Department of Health such as hospitals and the National Health Service;
- Problems dealt with by the Department of Work & Pensions such as benefits, pensions and national insurance;
- Problems dealt with by the Home Office such as immigration and asylum and matters such as school closures and grants which are dealt with by the Department for Education and Skills.
I also refer matters to Government Ministers and the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you require assistance or advice on any matter.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Dari

Thank you for the opportunity to write to you. I was overjoyed when Labour won over the Conservatives some years ago but became increasingly concerned about the autocratic, authoratitive manner of government. More recently the intention to compel citizens to carry ID cards, and Middlesbrough's Big Brother manner of dealing with litter louts and civil disobedience by using cameras and disembodied voices issuing demands. This is appauling and I will not shop in a town which treats its citizens in such a way. Please do what you can to return us to a more civilised and British way of dealing with such problems. Regards Diane Turner
