BARRETT LAUNCHES USE-IT-OR-LOSE-IT CAMPAIGN AFTER GOVERNMENT UNVEILS LATEST POST OFFICE CLOSURES.
John Barrett, Liberal Democrat MP for Edinburgh West, today launched a use-it-or-lose-it Post Offices campaign across West Edinburgh, encouraging local people to support their local post office after the Government announced plans for a new wave of closures.
TRIDENT - SHOUT IT BE REPLACED?
Commenting on the Publication of the Trident White Paper, John Barrett said: “The cost of replacing Trident looks likely to anything up to £76bn. There must be serious questions asked as to whether this is the best and most effective use of such an enormous sum of money."
GAS SAFETY IN THE HOME NOT JUST 'HOT AIR'
