Home Affairs Select Committee Jeremy has regularly attended meetings of the Home Affairs Select Committee, which this month have focused on Home Affairs issues at European Union level. Jeremy and other members of the Committee also visited Bristol criminal justice agencies as part of their recent inquiry into Young Black People and the Criminal Justice System.

Also at Westminster: Meeting on UK Hydrographic Office in Taunton Jeremy will be meeting with Derek Twigg MP, Minister responsible for the UK Hydrographic office, at the Ministry of Defence on Tuesday 5 December to lobby for the Hydrographic Office to remain in Taunton.

Meeting constituent lobbys Jeremy met with constituents lobbying parliament on Local Government Pensions and Nuclear Power.

In Taunton

 Jeremy continued his tour of primary schools and pre-schools in the area, visiting Priorswood Pre-school, Woodlands Pre-school, Stoke St. Mary Pre-school, The Willow Set Pre-school, St. Michael’s Pre School, Hatch Beauchamp Community Playgroup, Holy Trinity Primary School, Burrowbridge Primary School and Huish Woods Scout Camp.

 On 13 November Jeremy attended a memorial service for Lloyd Fouracre.

 Jeremy also attended Somerset Gay Health AGM, the Wellington Federation of Sports Club Dinner, and the ordination of Vivien Henderson, Minister and Hospital Chaplain at Taunton United Reform Church.
