Farepak
Posted by Anne Snelgrove, MP for South Swindon, at 08:37, Thu 26 October 2006:
I'm holding a public meeting at 4pm on Friday (27th October) at the Broadgreen Centre main hall and hope that anyone affected by the Farepak collapse will come along.
There is still a lot of confusion surrounding this and I hope it will be a chance to update everyone. As it is half term, many people will have their children at home - they will be welcome.
I can't, unfortunately, make sure that everyone gets their money back but I will work to get as much as possible for people who have lost out.
The Minister, Ian McCartney, is in talks with other retailers and I have appealed to local companies as well. It would be good to make contact with as many of those affected as possible, so please spread the word if you know anyone.
Thanks
Anne

We are not affected but Thank Anne on behalf of the many that are for her efforts. Many people including people we know have had their Christmas saveing disappear into a black hole (it would seem) it is essential that we get to the bottom of what happened and make every effort to ensure such a thing dosn't happen again.
