Roger welcomes Gaza ceasefire.

Roger has welcomed the ceasefire negotiated by the Egyptian Government between the Hamas led Government in Gaza and Israel. Said Roger “The carnage has left over 100 Palestinians and 5 Israelis dead and there have been no winners in this latest conflict. It was obvious that the continuing blockade of Gaza by the Israeli Government was going to result in renewed conflict and I am pleased that the ceasefire agreement specifically refers to the need to end the blockade. “
He went on “The Palestinians living in Gaza want to be able to run their lives and businesses but this was never going to be possible while Israel strangled them through the brutality of the blockade from land and sea. I very much hope that the blockade will be lifted which is what Western Governments, including the UK, have been calling for.”

Israeli leader Mr. Benjamin, with the impending election and in order to be re-elected, was looking for an excuse to attack Palestine and Hamas provided them. Israel has nuclear weapon which they managed to covertly acquired, but Iran has no right to do so, and the US and UK has armed them with the weapons of mass destruction. Even if we have to assume that it was the fault of Hamas, the action taken by the Israelis in killing to wipe out the whole of Palestine so that they can occupy the land, was out of proportion to the threat and is against the Human Rights and were innocent civilians have been killed. No wonder Iran’s stand has been that Israel has neither right to occupy the present land, which is based on Biblical fallacy, nor any right to usurp more of Palestine land and build houses for the Israeli people. Personally I feel that the majority of the Israeli and the Palestine are good people but it came as a shock to me that the majority of the Israeli are in favour of non-proportion response of Israeli. Obama has stated he would worry about his daughter if they were in Israel, well Mr Hussain, you need to send your daughters to Palestine and see what are the chances of them surviving.
Why Roger is silent about the fact that recently Britain had an arms deal with Saudi Arabia worth billions, thank to Prime Minster, and which is being ruled by a dictator and the Americans in turn has sold more arms to them. Why Roger is quiet about Bahrain where the majority are Shias and the minority of Sunni elite are ruling with the support from the America because they have a base there?
The general public are not stupid and they know about the injustices that is taking place. Time is running out, there will be no place for America, Britain and Israeli to hide.

The ones who have given permission for this blockade should be tried for war crimes - Israel always gets treated with cotton gloves, if another country did this to any european nation, there would be uproar and the united nations (of america)would not appease the aggressors by saying both sides should show restraint - how can a nation like palestine show restraint when the land grab by the israelis is going unchallenged by the rest of the world - Didn't this happen before remember the red indians - perhaps the americans are giving lessons to the israelis and perhaps in the future there will be little reservations for the palestinians in the greater Israel.
