Flooding
Posted by Pat Glass, MP for North West Durham, at 11:18, Wed 11 July 2012:
There has recently been unprecedented flooding in North West Durham. I recently asked the Prime Minister if he would confirm that his government would be there with 'real money' for flooded homes and businesses and not just 'nice warm words'. David Cameron said that the government would be 'generous' so lets hold him to his word. If you are having problems getting access to government funding in this emergency, or in getting insurance claims met or in getting your home or business re-insured get in touch Pat

Nice to know you are on top of this.Too many MPs are only concerned with 'world events' Your concern for your constituents is truly refreshing.

Living in Esh Village, flooding hasn't been a problem here. However, I know nearby villages have suffered.I have found the roads and travelling, my biggest problem.
Thank you for your concerns and it is good to know you have addressed this issue.
