Time to Meet Your MP?
Posted by Simon Reevell, MP for Dewsbury, at 15:11, Tue 27 March 2012:
During the Easter recess, Simon Reevell, the Member of Parliament for Dewsbury, will continue the tradition of holding question and answer sessions in various locations across the constituency.
Starting tomorrow, Simon has organised three Meet Your MP events during which he will take questions in a format similar to Question Time. He hopes that constituents will attend to raise their concerns and any questions that they want to ask.
The first Meet Your MP event will take place tomorrow, 28 March 2012, from 19.30 until 21.00 at Thurstonland First School. Simon is also holding a session on Wednesday 4 April 2012, from 19.30 until 21.00, at The Grange in Grange Moor. The final Meet Your MP session will take place on Wednesday 11 April 2012, again from 19.30 until 21.00, at the Kirkburton Hub.
Simon said, “I am keen to meet with as many constituents as possible to hear their concerns and to answer their questions about both local and national issues.”

Given that Dewsbury is still included in the constituency title and has not yet been abolished re boundary changes i would have thought that one of the question and answer sessions could have been hold in Dewsbury

Judith, I know that my office has been in contact with you about being removed from the list.
Dennis, as my office is on Northgate in Dewsbury and it is open every day from 9.30am until 4.30pm, I try to locate the Q&A sessions elsewhere in the constituency. I also have a street stall on Saturday morning once a month on Foundry Street from 11.30 until 13.00 and I have a mobile office in either Dewsbury or Mirfield on a Monday morning once a month. I am sorry that I don't have a Q&A session coming up in Dewsbury but if you ever want to meet with me to ask a question then please contact my office on 01924 465 008 or email me at simon.reevell.mp@parliament.uk.
