Simon Reevell MP answers pupils' questions at Paradise Primary School

Posted by Simon Reevell, MP for Dewsbury, at 12:08, Tue 6 March 2012:

Simon Reevell, the Member of Parliament for Dewsbury, has visited Paradise Primary School where he received a warm welcome. On Friday 2 March, Simon was given a tour of the school and the classrooms before he took part in the assembly.

The pupils at Paradise Primary School gave a short performance at the beginning of the assembly before a question and answer session during which the pupils quizzed Simon about his life as their MP.

Mr Najam Sheikh JP, Chair of Governors at the school, said, “I would like to thank Simon for coming to the school and answering the pupils’ questions. It was great to host Simon and we appreciate him taking his time out to visit the staff and pupils at the school.”

Simon said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Paradise Primary School. It was a pleasure to meet the teachers and pupils and to take part in the assembly. It was great to answer the range of questions the pupils had about being a Member of Parliament. Thank you to all at Paradise Primary School for your enthusiasm and for making me feel so welcome.”
