I'm delighted to use this forum. The biggest issue locally at the moment is the future of community hospitals. I'd be pleased to have your views. Mine are posted weekly in my column in the Wiltshire Times and fortnightly in the Warminster and Westbury Standard. Alternatively please have a look at my webiste www.andrewmurrison.co.uk

Great to see you use this forum. I notice you now have a discussion board on your website but have you thought about putting your weekly column into a blog on the site so that constituents can respond easily. It also means that it would be easy for us and other members of the public to find stuff you have written about, such as community hospitals. I would be wiling to help you achieve that. PLease contact me at shane AT gallomanor DOT com.

I'm also delighted that you're now using HearFromYourMP. Please continue to do so and add further requests for views; the more you add, the more people will respond.
As far as local hospitals goes, I believe it would be a serious setback for local parents-to-be if the maternity unit at Trowbridge were to disappear, which is the default option in every single one of the local Trust's "options" for change. It is a much admired and respected unit, with experienced and helpful staff and a positive, calm atmosphere.
Perhaps something similar could be re-created at Chippenham (which is what the Trust seems to want to do) but I rather doubt it.
