It is all very well forcing people off the dole and into work, but where is this work coming from?Jobs in Thanet are mainly in the care system (so called). The wage is usualy basic even though the charge for being in one of these places is in excess of £600 per week. I am 66 and still working. I would prefer to help people out of work than line the pockets of care home owners. This is just the Torys looking after well off people at the expence of the poor.

The tories want as many people on the dole as possible, so it will break the back of the welfare system,"the last bastion of socialism". But of course they will not relinquish the contributions. made by the national insurance stamp And by all means help people out of work,but crack down on the dossers, the lazy and the criminal, john smart
