Your local MP, Henry Bellingham and the service of local people.

During the course of the recent General Election, I made it very clear that if re-elected I would work hard for the entire constituency, regardless of party politics. Obviously the last few months have been incredibly hectic and challenging as the new Coalition has started to address the many different problems and crises facing the country.
Yes, there certainly will be very tough decisions that have to be taken, but on the other hand, I do feel that it is vital that the public are properly consulted and I believe that it is equally important that I maintain a very close dialogue with as many of my constituents as possible.
Bearing this in mind, do please feel able to contact me at any time.

Thank you Henry for keeping in touch. I understand that the government is looking at child benefit. Perhaps the govt could consider limiting child benefit to a maximum number of children per family perhaps 2 or 3 and maybe linking payment of benefit to attendance and behaviour at school. Parents need to be encouraged to take much more responsibility both fiscally and behaviourally for their families.

Thank you, Henry, for your message, I wish that all MP's were as focused as you are, with a genuine interest in the needs and concerns of their constituents.
kind regards, Fr. Paul Kinsey
