The credit rating given by US rating agencies is paid for by the creator of the derivative. In consequence, the rating does not reflect the true and fair value. Would the Prime Minister direct that these derivatives should not be sold or held in UK without first an unbiased UK view being sought as to the true and fair value.

On the question of the state of the British Economy. Could a statement be made to the house regarding the support given to the British Banks because of the Greedy "Wall Street Virus". The same banks now showing high profits. Could not the same support be given to Police Authorities for as with the cut-backs we are more likely to need them

Ask a question re peak oil and real economic sustainabity, what is the assessment of the risk, how long does the UK have to act, what actions are being taken now, is it enough?
You will get no press coverage, your ministerial prospect will shrink, no one will applaud: but you will be asking about something that really matters! Paul Saunders, Cambridge

The question that I would like asked is this: When the publicly owned bank shares become worth enough to sell them, will the govenment sell them and use the money to reverse some of the spending cuts and therefore create some much needed (public sector) jobs?
