Jeremy has also secured an Adjournment Debate on the UK Hydrographic Office on Thursday 15 June. Jeremy will use the debate as an opportunity to discuss the future of the service, including the prospect of it moving to Exeter.

In the upcoming weeks Jeremy will be speaking in Westminster Hall debates on the conflict in Northern Uganda (20/06/06) and Human Rights in North Korea (22/06/06).

Home Affairs Select Committee Jeremy has been regularly attending Home Affairs Select Committee meetings, which this month have focused on Immigration Control and the chaos at the Home Office regarding deportation of Foreign Criminals. Jeremy has also secured a private meeting with Tom Watson MP, the Minister responsible for the Hydrographic Office. The meeting will take place on Tuesday 20 June.

CentreForum Jeremy recently wrote a chapter for a pamphlet published by liberal think-tank CentreForum on Freedom. In the pamphlet, Jeremy, Conservative MP Ed Vaizey and Neal Lawson, chairman of left-wing think tank Compass, set out their contrasting definitions of freedom. In Taunton

 On 12 May Sir Menzies Campbell MP visited Taunton constituency and accompanied Jeremy on a tour of Wyvern Waste.

 On 14 May Jeremy attended a service for the new Mayor of Taunton, Cllr. Chris Hindley.

 Jeremy has also been continuing his tour of pre-schools in the constituency and is visiting new head teachers at primary schools.

 Jeremy’s constituency annual report is currently being delivered by the post office. Every household should receive a copy.
