The government needs to cut expenses drastically which I understand will make any governement unpopular but this country has no choice. About taxing more the rich the claim is that they will use other avenues to avoid paying taxes. It is a no win situation. Perhaps the increase in fuel duty will encourage commuters to use public transport as I do.
